App in Just for fun
LifeStory
An iPhone app I built my parents for Christmas: life-story questions, one at a time, answered on video.
Just starting
New. I’ve only just started on it.
It works. It’s being tested on a real iPhone, then it goes to my parents through TestFlight.

The problem
Grandkids love their grandparents most, but usually know the least about their lives.
What I made
An iPhone app that shows one life-story question at a time over a selfie video: highs, lows, gratitude, hard seasons, what they want the grandkids to know. They answer on camera, tap Next, and can pick up where they left off later. Each answer is saved as its own clip in the family’s Google Drive, with a permanent link. Each family gets a printed book with a QR code on every story that plays the video. Built with SwiftUI and AVFoundation, a small Python server on Fly.io, and Google Drive.
